Got questions about our cheese?
You might find the answers in our FAQ section.

What is Calcium Lactate and why is it in my cheddar?

You might find your Pilgrims Choice has a coating of white crystals on it – they’re called Calcium Lactate. And these crystals are a cheddar’s best friend.

Not only does Calcium Lactate add extra crunch to our cheese but it also indicates that the cheese will have a hearty and complex flavour and it’s found only in the most flavourful cheddar. Like ours.

Is Pilgrims Choice suitable for vegetarians?

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the delicious taste of Pilgrims Choice which is why all our ingredients are and always will be suitable for vegetarians. Welcome to the cheese-side veggies.

My life is lacking in flavour, what can I do to resolve this?

Bland cheeses just not cutting it? Sit back, relax and bite off a chunk of our cheddar.

Feel that crunch, let that creaminess caress you and be smothered in a smoothness that’s hard to resist. Long-lasting flavours that turn snacks and meals into a cheddar-packed celebration!
