Pilgrims Choice Ultimate Pizzas


To make the base:

  • 375g (13 oz) plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 7g (1/4 oz) dried active baking yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 225ml (8 fl oz) warm water (45 C)Optional toppings:
  • Vine tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes
  • Bresaola slices
  • Chorizo slices
  • BBQ Chicken
  • Salami slices
  • Large handfuls of Pilgrims Choice Mature Cheddar


  1. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl
  2. Mix in the oil and warm water
  3. Spread your dough out on a large pizza pan
  4. Cover with your favourite toppings
  5. Throw handfuls of Pilgrims Choice Grated cheddar on top
  6. Bake at 190•C / Gas mark 5 for 20 to 25 minutes until everything is crispy and melted
  7. Serve it with your favourite sauces and chutneys if you’re into that kind of thing
