Smoky Cheese Popcorn
Cheese Powder:
• 40g dried breadcrumbs
• 80g Pilgrims Choice Mature Cheddar – packed with punch
• 5g Cajun seasoning
Popcorn mix:
• 50g chorizo
• 50g popcorn kernels
• 1 tbsp oil
Here’s how it’s done:
1. On a microwave-safe plate, spread breadcrumbs and pile on Pilgrims Choice Mature. Microwave
on medium in 60-second bursts for about 5 minutes – it should be crisp, golden, and brittle once
cool. Blitz with Cajun seasoning to make your cheesy powder.
2. In a pan, fry the chorizo in oil until crisp and rich with flavour. Remove and keep the oil in the pan.
3. Add popcorn kernels, cover, and heat gently until the popping slows.
4. Toss popcorn in a bowl with your Cajun cheese powder
